2. General Refund Conditions

Daily Silence processes refunds according to the following general principles:

  • All refund requests must be submitted via our official channels (detailed in Section 7)
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible
  • Processing times for refunds vary depending on your payment method and financial institution
  • We reserve the right to refuse refunds that do not comply with this policy

3. Refund Policy by Product Category

3.1 Online Courses and Digital Products

For our digital products and online courses, the following refund conditions apply:

  • 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for most of our digital products and online courses. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase date.
  • Refund Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for a refund, you must have completed less than 30% of the course content and provide specific feedback about why the course did not meet your expectations.
  • Non-Refundable Items: Some digital products are explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase. These typically include heavily discounted items or limited-time offers.

3.2 In-Person Workshops and Retreats

For our workshops, retreats, and other in-person events, the following refund conditions apply:

  • Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Event: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee.
  • Cancellation 15-30 Days Before Event: 50% refund of the total amount paid.
  • Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Before Event: No refund is available, but we allow one-time transfers to another participant or credit toward a future event (valid for 12 months).
  • Event Cancellation by Daily Silence: In the event that we cancel a workshop or retreat, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another event date.

3.3 Physical Merchandise

For physical products and merchandise, the following refund conditions apply:

  • Return Period: Items may be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Condition Requirements: Products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when you received them.
  • Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or was shipped incorrectly.
  • Defective Items: For defective items, we offer a full refund including shipping costs or a replacement at no additional cost.

3.4 Subscriptions and Membership Services

For our subscription-based services and memberships, the following refund conditions apply:

  • Monthly Subscriptions: No partial refunds are available for monthly subscriptions. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Annual Subscriptions: For annual subscriptions, we offer a prorated refund if you cancel within the first 30 days of your subscription period. After 30 days, no refunds are provided for the remaining subscription period.
  • Trial Periods: If you cancel during a free trial period, no charges will be applied.

4. Refund Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved, the processing time depends on your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, though some financial institutions may take longer.
  • PayPal: Refunds are usually processed within 3-5 business days.
  • Bank Transfers: Refunds via bank transfer may take 7-14 business days to process.

Please note that while we process refunds promptly on our end, we cannot control the processing time of your financial institution.

5. Exceptions to the Refund Policy

The following situations are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • After Completion: Services that have been fully delivered or completed are not eligible for refunds.
  • Special Circumstances: Items or services specifically marked as "non-refundable" at the time of purchase.
  • Change of Mind: Simple change of mind for in-person events with less than 15 days' notice.
  • Violations of Terms: If you have violated our Terms and Conditions, we reserve the right to deny refund requests.

However, we recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise. In such cases, we review refund requests on a case-by-case basis, and our decision is final.

6. Exchanges and Store Credit

In some cases where a refund is not available, we may offer exchanges or store credit:

  • Exchanges: For physical merchandise, exchanges for a different size, color, or item of equal value may be available when the original item is returned in its original condition.
  • Store Credit: We may offer store credit in situations where a cash refund is not available, such as late cancellations for events or after the return period for merchandise has expired.
  • Validity Period: Store credits are typically valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

For in-person events that may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, such as public health emergencies, natural disasters, or other force majeure events:

  • Event Postponement: If we need to postpone an event, your registration will automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, you may receive a full credit toward a future event or a refund.
  • Format Changes: If an in-person event is converted to an online format, we will offer either a partial refund reflecting the difference in value or the option to transfer to a future in-person event.
  • Government Restrictions: If you are unable to attend an event due to government-imposed travel restrictions that were not in place at the time of your booking, we will provide a full refund or credit toward a future event.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any updates.
